How much does a Drain Guys franchise cost?

Our franchise package is comprehensive, supplying you with all the knowledge and guidance you need to set up your franchise and start generating income.

The initial franchise cost is £15,000. However, there are also costs for equipment and tools, including a van deposit and other additional start-up costs. Therefore, we estimate the total start-up costs for The Drain Guys franchise at £36,450.

How much experience do I need in drain repair?

You do not need experience in drain maintenance or repair to join The Drain Guys. You will receive full training as a franchisee, however, you will need a CSCS card. A water jetting association qualification is also highly beneficial.

The Drain Guys franchise has been developed by specialist franchise consultancy The Franchise Company (www.franchisecompany.co.uk) and solicitors affiliated with the British Franchise Association (BFA). The Franchise Company operate within the BFAs code of practice and ethics for business format franchising within the UK and has over 30 years of experience in franchising both nationally and internationally.

How can I get business finance?

We have established relationships with leading providers and are often able to assist you in raising 50% of the initial start-up costs. Sourcing loans from financial institutions for a franchise is far easier than for a completely new business as there is a proven business model and business plan.

How long is the franchise agreement?

The Drain Guys franchise agreement lasts for 5 years initially and contains a right of renewal at the end of the term. This means that you can continue to grow and develop your business on an ongoing basis and as the business grows the annual profits should increase as well.

Once the business is established if you want to sell it our franchise agreement contains a specific clause so that you can sell your franchise to a new franchisee at a price to be agreed upon between the parties.
